BNI Nexus News - Member of The Year 2004
BNI is not just all about business: there are the social and fun aspects to it as well.
At a Gala Dinner held in the Glasgow Marriott Hotel on Thursday 7th October 2004, sponsored by The Royal Bank of Scotland, local businessman Charles Gallagher has picked up a major business award when he was voted Member of The Year 2004 by his fellow members of Business Network International (BNI).
Charles, who runs a construction consultancy and is a member of the Nexus (Eaglesham) BNI group, puts it all down to getting out of bed early once a week to attend a 7a.m business breakfast!
Commenting on his success. Charles said; “I’m delighted at winning. I have found that being a member of BNI has certainly helped my business. It means even more that my fellow members have voted for me . Thanks to them for the award’.
Presenting the award on behalf of The Royal Bank of Scotland, Iain Burnside, Relationship Banking, Scotland, said: “My congratulations go to Charles for an outstanding contribution to local business. The Royal Bank shares with BNI a commitment to developing face-to-face business relationships in communities across the country and is delighted to have supported these awards for a fourth year”.
